| Abstract (German): | Um die Notwendigkeit einer "neuen" Werteerziehung zu begründen, wird in der aktuellen Bildungsdebatte das Stereotyp von der "politischen Werte- und Orientierungskrise der ostdeutschen Jugendlichen" in Anspruch genommen. Dabei wird angenommen, die Jugendlichen hätten jene in der ideologischen Erziehung in der DDR intendierten Werte auch verinnerlicht. Im Beitrag wird den Formen nachgegangen, in denen die Schüler sich zu diesen Inhalten verhielten, ohne sie dabei zu verinnerlichen. Wenn neuerlich versucht wird, den Schülern materiale Werte nahezubringen, so dementiert dies nicht nur den normativen Sinn, der in die bürgerliche Ordnung eingelassen ist, sondern schließt zudem auf eigentümliche Weise an die in der DDR herrschende Erziehungsvorstellung an. | Abstract (English): | In order to substantiate the need for a "new" moral education, the present debate on education refers to the stereotype of a "crisis in political values and political orientation among the East-German youth". In this, it is assumed that the adolescents internalized the values taught in the GDR. The author inquires into those attitudes by which students reacted to these contents without internalizing them. If, again, the attempt is made to teach students to appreciate material values, then this not only denies the normative idea embedded in the bourgeois order, but also, in a peculiar manner, links up with the educational concept which prevailed in the GDR.
