Abstract (English):This paper aims at identifying current research clusters in foreign language education which demonstrate the topics viewed as the most important ones in the discipline by doctoral candidates in the recent past (2006-2013). In a further step, a (subjective) perspective is presented on which main tasks (i.e. relevance, adequacy and self-reflexivity) are linked with the answers (young) researchers and their works in foreign language education are expected to provide to the questions identified previously both from within and outside the discipline.
