Abstract (English):What roles can making music play in general music education? In recent years, a highly densified and diverse field of examples, discussions, and publications has emerged on this topic. This article enters into the fray by consulting the principles of cultural studies to see how they can stimulate different ways of making music. What is interesting is the radical approach of viewing culture as an interpretative circulation process of music not only created as a work and reproduced by experts, but as something which can be created, transformed, and communicated in everyday life by everybody. Using the example of La Paloma, we show the many diverse ways that people read music and which ways of playing, or unique and highly contextual articulations, can be found. The article then asks if schools can support this type of self-opinionated negotiation of musical interpretation. (DIPF/Orig.)
