| Abstract (German): | Die Lernräume an (deutschen) Bildungseinrichtungen sind sowohl in der Architektur und Innenausstattung als auch in der Nutzung traditionellen schulischen Mustern verhaftet und bieten wenig (Spiel-)Raum für innovative Settings. Das geplante „Haus des Lernens“ am Campus der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK) will hier neue Wege gehen: Die Akteurinnen und Akteure sollen auf innovative Weise zu andersartigen Lernaktivitäten angeregt werden; ein Bereich soll als „theatraler“ Raum für Interaktion und Performance dienen. Ziel ist es, den (hochschulischen) Lernraum zu einem partizipativen Spielraum zu erweitern, in dem Möglichkeiten gegeben sind für Imagination und Querdenken, für das Erkennen und Aushalten von Ambivalenzen und Brüchen hin zu einem produktiven Erleben und Verhandeln von Mehrstimmigkeit, was die persönlichen Kompetenzen für lebenslanges Lernen stärkt. Exemplarisch werden im Beitrag die Formate „Science Slam“ und „Die Ausstellung als Drama“ besprochen, um zu zeigen, wie die Raumarchitektur in informellen Settings der Erwachsenenbildung auf (lern-)aktivierende Weise inszeniert werden kann. | Abstract (English): | The learning spaces in (German) educational institutions are trapped in traditional school models in terms of their architecture and interior design as well as their use and little space is available for innovative settings. The “House of Learning” (Haus des Lernens) planned for the campus of the University of Kaiserslautern (TUK) would like to break new ground. The student actors should be inspired to different types of learning activities; one area should serve as a “theatrical” space for interaction and performance. The goal is to enlarge the (university) learning space into a participatory space in which there are opportunities for imagining and thinking creatively, for recognizing and enduring ambiguities and discontinuities as well as for productively experiencing and negotiating multiple voices, which strengthens personal competences for lifelong learning. The formats “Science Slam” and “Exhibition as Drama” are provided as examples of how spatial architecture can be orchestrated in a way that activates learning in informal settings of adult education.
