| Abstract (German): | „Frauenstimmen“ ist ein Projekt, das von Juni bis September 2020 vom Verein Projekt Integrationshaus sowie vom Verein Piramidops – Frauentreff durchgeführt wurde. Es bot Frauen mit Migrationsgeschichte im Rahmen von Workshops die Möglichkeit, ihre Erfahrungen, Wünsche und Anliegen in Bezug auf die Gestaltung eines „guten Lebens“ für sich und ihre Kinder in Österreich sichtbar zu machen sowie Barrieren und Herausforderungen dabei zu benennen. Ergebnis ist ein Kurzfilm, der Statements der Frauen zu Gesundheit, Bildung und Arbeitsmarkt versammelt. Außerdem sind auch Bilder und Collagen entstanden, die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse der Frauen abbilden. Letztere reichen von einem Balkon und Platz für den Gemüseanbau über Ärzt*innen mit mehr Empathie sowie Kinderbetreuungsmöglichkeiten bis hin zum politischen Mitspracherecht. Sichtbar gemacht wurden im Projekt aber auch der Erfahrungsschatz der Frauen sowie ihre Potenziale und Ressourcen. Damit diese endlich gesellschaftliche Anerkennung erhalten, braucht es für Frauen noch viel mehr an Öffentlichkeit. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | “Women’s Voices” is a project carried out by the associations Projekt Integrationshaus and Piramidops—Frauentreff from June to September 2020. Its workshops offered women with a migration background the opportunity to make visible their experiences, wishes and concerns related to the organization of a “good life” for them and their children in Austria and to talk about barriers and challenges. The result is a short film that collects the women’s statements on health, education and the job market. In addition, pictures and collages were developed that depict the women’s wishes and needs. These range from a balcony and space for a vegetable garden to doctors with greater empathy and childcare opportunities to a political voice. The project has also made visible the wealth of women’s experiences as well as their potential and resources. For women to finally receive social recognition, much more publicity is required.
