| Abstract (German): | Die seit mehr als 25 Jahren als Erwachsenenbildnerin tätige Autorin skizziert in ihrem Beitrag anhand von praktischen Beispielen und Erinnerungen aus ihrem Berufsalltag Gedankensplitter rund um die Pros und Kontras von Digitalisierung in der Erwachsenenbildung. Sie stellt die Frage, ob ein politisch geprägter Bildungsbegriff – wie oft befürchtet – durch digitale Vermittlungsformen tatsächlich verloren geht und inwiefern dieses Bildungsverständnis auf digitale Lernwelten übertragbar ist. Ein weiteres zentrales Reflexionsthema im Beitrag sind die gestiegenen Anforderungen an ErwachsenenbildnerInnen und Teilnehmende durch die Digitalisierung. Die Möglichkeit von (informellen) Gruppenprozessen im digitalen Setting, die Frage nach den technischen Ressourcen und Aspekte von „Entkörperlichung“ und damit verbundene Herausforderungen werden entlang von Praxissituationen verfolgt. Der Beitrag schließt mit der Darlegung eines Hauptvorteils von digitalen Bildungsformaten: der Partizipation. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | In this article, the author, who has been an adult educator for more than 25 years, gathers together her thoughts on the pros and cons of the digital transformation in adult education, sharing examples and memories from her daily life. She asks whether a politically influenced concept of education is—as often feared—in fact being lost because of digital media forms and to what extent this understanding of education can be transferred to digital learning worlds. The article also reflects on the increased demands placed on adult educators and course participants by the digital transformation. The possibility of (informal) group processes in a digital setting, the question of technical resources and aspects of “disembodiment” and its associated challenges are examined in practical situations. The article concludes by explaining one great advantage of digital education formats: participation. (DIPF/Orig.) |
