| Abstract (German): | Der Beitrag skizziert in essayistischer Form die gestiegenen Herausforderungen im Bereich Bildung, Erziehung, Betreuung, die - folgt man dem aktuellen fachpolitischen Diskurs - nur noch im Rahmen einer kommunal koordinierten interinstitutionellen Zusammenarbeit mit den Hauptakteuren Schule, Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, Gesundheitsförderung, Arbeitsmarktförderung und soziale Sicherungssysteme zu bewältigen ist. Ungeachtet fehlender ordnungspolitischer, struktureller und fachlicher Voraussetzungen erscheint das Setzen auf kommunal koordinierte Netzwerke derzeit "alternativlos", was sich vor Ort in einer eigentümlichen Mischung aus Gestaltungsoptimismus und Ernüchterung niederschlägt. | Abstract (English): | This article delineates in an essayistic manner the risen challenges in the field of education and care. According to ongoing specialist discussions, the latter can only be managed within the frame of a communally coordinated inter-institutional cooperation between the main actors, namely schools, children and youth welfare services, health promotion, employment promotion, and social safety systems. Although regulative, structural and professional preconditions are missing, backing communally coordinated networks seems to be at the moment the one and only alternative, which is reflected in a peculiar mélange of creative optimism and disenchantment on the ground.
