| Abstract (Deutsch): | Der Hort, lange als Auslaufmodell betrachtet, gewinnt im Kontext des Rechtsanspruchs auf Ganztagsbetreuung für Grundschulkinder wieder an Bedeutung. Im Rahmen des Projektes „Betreuung als Infrastruktur – Der Hort im Kontext von Ganztagsbetreuung“ wird er als eine soziale Arena betrachtet, die eine organisationale Lücke zwischen Kinder- und Jugendhilfe sowie Schule füllt. Ziel ist es, die Erwartungen und das Zusammenwirken verschiedener Akteur:innen, die unterschiedlichen sozialen Welten angehören, in der Infrastruktur der Ganztagsbetreuung zu untersuchen. Im Projekt werden drei Fallstudien in deutschen Städten bzw. Landkreisen generiert, um die Legitimationsfiguren und Funktionen des Hortes zu analysieren. Der Fokus liegt auf den sozialen Welten (Kinder, Familien, Fachkräfte, Verwaltung und Politik), die den Hort vor Ort prägen. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (Englisch): | The after-school care center, long considered an outdated model, is gaining significance again in the context of the legal entitlement to all-day care for elementary school children. Within the framework of this project it is viewed as a social arena that fills an organizational gap between child and youth services and schools. The aim is to investigate the expectations and interactions of various actors, belonging to different social worlds, within the infrastructure of all-day care. In the project, three case studies in German cities or districts are conducted to analyze the legitimizing figures and functions of the after-school care center. The focus is on the social worlds (children, families, professionals, administration, and politics) that shape the after-school care center on site. (DIPF/Orig.) |
