| Abstract (German): | In dem Beitrag werden - ausgehend von einer knappen Skizze der aktuellen Situation der Lehrerbildungsdebatte - vier unterschiedliche Entwicklungsoptionen diskutiert und bewertet: Zunächst geht es um die Frage einer möglichen Verlagerung von (Teilen der) Lehrerbildung an Fachhochschulen, zweitens um die aktuellen Vorschläge zur Verknüpfung der ersten Phase der Lehrerbildung mit gestuften Bachelor/Master-Studiengängen und drittens um die Forderung nach einer Entstaatlichung der universitären Lehrerbildung. Im vierten und letzten Teil schließlich wird eine evolutionäre Entwicklungs- und Optimierungsstrategie für alle Phasen und Institutionen der Lehrerbildung erläutert und verteidigt, wie sie von der Kommission "Lehrerbildung" der Kultusministerkonferenz entwickelt worden ist. | Abstract (English): | On the basis of a short sketch of the present-day situation in the debate on teacher training, the author discusses and evaluates four different developmental options: he deals, first, with the question of a possible transfer of (parts of) teacher training to specific institutions of higher education ("Fachhochschulen"); second, with the recent proposal for a linking of the first phase of teacher training with graded Bachelor/Master courses of studies; and third, with the demand for abolishing state control over university training for teachers. In the fourth and final part, the author explains and advocates an evolutionary development- and optimization-strategy for all phases and institutions of teacher education, as it was developed by the commission 'teacher education' of the standing conference of the ministers of education and science.
