| Abstract (German): | In dem Beitrag wird der Stand der Forschung zur historischen Entwicklung der sozialen Ungleichheit im Zusammenspiel von Familie und Bildungssystem herausgearbeitet. Dabei ergibt sich zunächst das Bild zweier parallel laufender Forschungsstränge: eine Makroperspektive auf die Schulentwicklung und eine Mikroperspektive auf die Familie. Wechselseitige Bezüge sind nur ansatzweise vorhanden. Diese gilt es aber zu entwickeln und in der Forschung zu Grunde zu legen, wenn wir etwas über das Verhältnis von Bildungssystem, Familie und sozialer Ungleichheit im historischen Prozess erfahren wollen. | Abstract (English): | The author sketches the state-of-the-art of research on the historical development of social inequality in the interaction of family and educational system. Initially, the picture that presents itself is one of two parallel lines of research: a macro-perspective on school development and a micro-perspective on the family. There are few signs of reciprocal interrelations. However, these are the ones that need to be further developed and to be used as a basis for research if we want to know more about the relation between educational system, family, and social inequality in the historical process.
