| Abstract (German): | Zwei als Ergänzung der internationalen TIMSS-Leistungsstudie durchgeführte Video Surveys (TIMSS 1995 und 1999 Video Studies) haben der Unterrichtsforschung und -entwicklung wichtige Impulse verliehen. Anhand eines Überblicks über die methodische Anlage, die Ergebnisse und die Rezeption der beiden einflussreichen Studien sowie anhand von Beispielen von davon inspirierten deutschsprachigen Studien zeigt der Beitrag die Entwicklung der Videonutzung von den deskriptiven Surveys hin zur videobasierten Unterrichtsforschung auf, welche - gestützt auf ein systemisches Angebots-Nutzungs-Modell schulischen Lernens - Videoanalysen zur differentiellen Erklärung von Bildungswirkungen heranzieht. Der mit der Nutzung von Unterrichtsvideos verbundene Mehrwert sowohl für die empirische Unterrichtsforschung als auch für die Unterrichtsentwicklung und die Lehrerbildung wird im Beitrag deutlich gemacht. | Abstract (English): | Two video surveys which were conducted to supplement the international TIMSS Achievement Study (TIMSS 1995 and 1999 Video Studies) have given important impulses to research on and the development of instruction. Based on a survey of the methodological lay-out, the findings and the reaction to these two influential studies as well as on the basis of a few illustrative German-language studies inspired by the latter, the authors sketch the development of the use of videos from the merely descriptive surveys up to video-based research on instruction which - based on a systemic supply-use-model of school learning - uses video analyses for the differential explanation of educational effects. The added value connected with the use of teaching videos in empirical research on instruction as well as in teaching development and in teacher training is emphasized. (DIPF/Orig.) |
