| Abstract (German): | Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Arbeit in der politischen Bildung aus der Perspektive von "maiz - Autonomes Zentrum von & für Migrantinnen", einer Selbstorganisation von Migrantinnen. Die Autorin äußert wesentliche Kritik an der bestehenden Form politischer Bildung: Nicht-Staatsbürger_innen werden von politischer Bildung ausgeschlossen. Sie werden in der politischen Bildung nicht thematisiert, in Papieren zu politischer Bildung nicht einmal erwähnt. Wenn politische Bildung vor allem auf die Herausbildung von Staatsbürger_innenkompetenz fokussiert, wird sie zu einem Stabilisierungsfaktor des bestehenden Systems und verstärkt den Ausschluss von Nicht-Staatsbürger_innen. | Abstract (English): | This article deals with work in civic education from the perspective of maiz (Autonomous Center by and for Migrants), a self-organization of female migrants. The author substantially criticizes the existing form of civic education: Non-citizens are excluded from civic education. They are not thematized in civic education, nor are they even mentioned in papers on civic education. If civic education focuses above all on the formation of citizen competence, it will become a factor in stabilizing the existing system and will strengthen the exclusion of non-citizens.
