| Abstract (German): | In diesem Beitrag werden am Beispiel unterschiedlich profilierter exklusiver Internatsgymnasien - einem traditionsreichen Privatinternat und einem staatlichen Hochbegabteninternat - Fragen nach dem Konnex zwischen spezifischen Internatsschulkulturen und dem professionellen Lehrerhandeln gestellt. Mit Rückgriff auf Interviews und Unterrichtsbeobachtungen werden dabei Spezifika der Lehrer-Schüler-Interaktion und des pädagogischen Arbeitsbündnisses sowie antinomische Spannungen im Lehrerhandeln analysiert. Ziel ist es, nicht nur das Professionsverständnis der Lehrenden sowie gegenseitige Erwartungshaltungen der Schulakteure eingehender zu betrachten, sondern auch Herausforderungen im Rahmen der Bildungs- und Erziehungsarbeit in exklusiven, gymnasialen Bildungsräumen aufzuzeigen. | Abstract (English): | This paper focuses on exclusive secondary boarding schools - a private boarding school with a rich tradition and a state-run public boarding school for gifted students - with regards to the interplay between the specific school culture and the professional actions of their teachers. Using qualitative data such as interviews and classroom observations, this paper offers findings on the specific working relationship between teachers and students as well as antinomic figurations as the structural core of professional pedagogical action. The research aims to analyse the professional understanding of teachers and the reciprocal expectations of the school actors as well as challenges resulting from the educational work in exclusive educational institutions.
