| Abstract (German): | Bedürfnisse und ihre Befriedigung scheinen im Leben eines Menschen ebenso basal wie banal zu sein, sichern sie doch das Überleben, die Entfaltung der Persönlichkeit und die soziale Integration. Dessen ungeachtet, ist die Kompetenz zur Reflexion sowohl der Bedürfnisse wie der Bedeutung des Konsums und seiner Bedingungsfaktoren ein wichtiges Ziel der Ernährungs- und Verbraucherbildung. | Abstract (English): | Needs and their satisfaction seem as basic as they are banal in a person’s life, as they ensure survival, the development of personality, and social integration. Nevertheless, the competence to reflect on the needs as well as on the significance of consumption and its conditioning factors is an important goal of nutrition and consumer education.
