Abstract (English): | This paper reflects on the compilation of vignettes of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) in a variety of contexts. The analysis is framed by Critical Everyday Theory (CET), employing the concepts of estrangement, alienation and novelty to extend and develop these contributions. A consideration of what is new in these pieces for GCE, and how they address power coupled with the value of ethnographic research is examined. (DIPF/Orig.) |
