| Abstract (German): | In Deutschland wird zunehmend der Einsatz von Auswahlverfahren im Lehramtsstudium diskutiert, verbunden mit der Hoffnung, gute und belastbare Lehrkräfte zu rekrutieren. Neben einem Überblick über den (inter-)nationalen Status quo verweist der Artikel auf grundsätzliche Aspekte, die bei einer Konzeption und Implementierung von Auswahlverfahren vor dem Hintergrund des Zusammenwirkens verschiedener Akteure in der Lehrerbildung berücksichtigt werden müssen. | Abstract (English): | In Germany, there is an increasing discussion about the application of selection procedures for teacher education programs, hoping to recruit good and resilient teachers. Apart from giving an overview of today's situation in Germany and beyond, the paper refers to fundamental aspects to be considered when designing and implementing selection procedures in the context of co-operation between different players in teacher education.
