| Abstract (German): | Das Thema schulische Gewaltprävention ist von anhaltender Relevanz für die Schulforschung und die Schulpraxis. Der Beitrag nimmt die Schule als Ort der Gewaltprävention in den Blick. Ausgehend von Befunden der Gewalt- und Präventionsforschung wird die Bedeutung von Programm- und schulklimatischen Ansätzen für die Förderung sozialer Kompetenzen von Schülerinnen und Schülern dargelegt und diskutiert. | Abstract (English): | Prevention of violence in schools is of particular importance for school research and school practice. This paper highlights the school as a context of violence prevention. Based on the latest results of school violence research and findings of school violence prevention, the importance of program and school climate approaches for the promotion of social skills of students is argued and discussed.
