| Abstract (German): | Überfachliche Ziele bilden ein wesentliches Element in der Formulierung des institutionellen Auftrags des allgemeinbildenden Schulwesens. Ihre Bedeutung für die empirische Erfassung der Bildungsqualität wird zunehmend wahrgenommen. Der Bericht gibt einen Überblick über internationale sowie nationale Arbeiten und analysiert daran anschließend Zielsetzungen für das deutsche Schulwesen auf der Grundlage der vorliegenden Landesverfassungen und Schulgesetze aller Bundesländer. | Abstract (English): | Cross-curricular competencies play an important role with respect to the institutional goals of schooling. More and more their importance is acknowledged in the process of defining the quality of school-systems by empirical standards. This report gives an overview with respect to the international situation and goes on with the content analysis of the German situation based on state-constitutions and school-laws of all German states.
