| Abstract (English): | In a digitalised world a lot of new challenges arise for democracies, which requires an adaptation of civic education in primary schools. Primary school teachers need knowledge about political aspects of digital transformation and how to teach these topics. In order to record teachers’ professional knowledge as part of their professional competence, a test was developed by the project PoliMeR. This article presents the test development including the conceptualisation and operationalisation of content knowledge (CK) and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) for political media education in primary school.
