| Abstract (German): | Aufbauend auf einer Befragung der deutschen Kultusministerien werden im Beitrag die aktuellen Konzepte von Schulinspektion vergleichend aufbereitet. Sieben gemeinsame Merkmale der Länderkonzepte werden identifiziert. Als Hauptfunktion von Schulinspektion tritt dabei die Förderung von Schulentwicklung durch Einsicht (Konfrontation mit unerwarteter Information) hervor. Zudem werden zwei verschiedene Strategien der Umsetzung bzw. Typen der Schulinspektion diskutiert. Schulinspektion erscheint eher als Erhebung wissenschaftlich-objektiver Daten oder als fall-orientiertes Peer Review. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Based on a survey conducted by all sixteen ministries of education in Germany, the article summarises the current situation of school inspection in Germany. Seven common characteristics of school inspection are specified, while the main function of school inspection in Germany is identified as confronting schools with knowledge to foster their development. Next, two types of school inspection in Germany are defined, namely the collection of scientific data and the case-oriented peer review. Characteristics and examples of these two types of school inspection are discussed. (DIPF/Orig.) |
