| Abstract (German): | Gestützt auf die zahlreichen Artikel zur Verwissenschaftlichung der Lehrerbildung wird in diesem Beitrag entlang der 100 Jahrgänge der DDS ein nicht an Aktualität verlierendes Zeitstrangthema rekonstruiert und kontextualisiert. Eingeschränkt durch inhaltliche Diskontinuitäten vor allem zur Zeit des Ersten Weltkriegs und des Nationalsozialismus zeigt sich die spezifische Gestalt der DDS darin, dass ihre Autoren Fragen bearbeiten, die zwischen Wissenschaft, Bildungspolitik und Praxisanforderungen erst noch vor ihrem gesellschaftlichen Aushandlungsprozess stehen. | Abstract (English): | On the basis of numerous articles in "Die Deutsche Schule" about the scientification of teacher education, this article reconstructs and contextualises this timeline issue which has never lost its topicality. Except for discontinuities in respect of content, especially during World War I and the period of National Socialism, it has become evident as the specific of "Die Deutsche Schule" that the authors of this journal deal with questions which are located between science, education policy and the requirements of practice and which still have to be negotiated socially.
