| Abstract (German): | Der Autor stellt folgende Sammelbände zur Ganztagsschuldiskussion vor: 1. Die Ganztagsschule. Alltag, Reform, Geschichte, Theorie / hrsg. von Volker Ladenthin und Jürgen Rekus; 2. Grundbegriffe der Ganztagsbildung. Beiträge zu einem neuen Bildungsverständnis in der Wissensgesellschaft / hrsg. von Hans-Uwe Otto und Thomas Coelen; 3. Ganztägige Bildungssysteme. Innovation durch Vergleich (ebenfalls von Otto/Coelen). Dabei berücksichtigt er insbesondere "die Debatte um Ganztagsbildung vs. Ganztagsschule", die Forderung vieler Sozialpädagogen nach einer institutionalisierten Zusammenarbeit von Schule und Jugendhilfe und die Auseinandersetzung mit Ganztagsschulmodellen anderer Länder. | Abstract (English): | Social workers contrast the all-day school, preoccupied with instruction, with an all-day education in which they themselves by offering informal education take part on a much larger scale.
