| Abstract (German): | Kanada nahm bei der internationalen Vergleichsstudie zur Lesekompetenz den zweiten Platz ein. Ein Vertrauens- und Fördersystem, das Kindern einen guten Start in der Elementarerziehung ermöglicht und sie bis zur Graduierung von der Highschool unterstützt, dürfte wesentlich dazu beigetragen haben. Doch zurzeit verfolgt die Regierung eine Politik, die durch Tests und Kontrolle Misstrauen schafft. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Canada scored second best in the international study on literacy, PISA. A system of trust and support that provides children with a good start in elementary education and helps them along till graduation from high school, has been a major contributing factor. However, the current administration pursues an educational policy promoting distrust rather than trust through tests and control. (DIPF/Orig.) |
