| Abstract (German): | Der Beitrag zeigt die internationale Rolle der Weltbank, die vor allem für Entwicklungshilfe zuständig ist. Sie engagiert sich dabei verstärkt in der Bildungspolitik, da ökonomische Strukturveränderungen vor allem auch zu Auswirkungen im Bildungsbereich führen. Mit ihrer Bildungspolitik im Kontext der Strukturanpassungsprogramme trug die Weltbank wesentlich zu einem Paradigmenwechsel in der Bildungspolitik bei. Es geht dabei vor allem um: Privatisierung, Wettbewerb und Dezentralisierung im öffentlichen Sektor, sowie Ersetzung bzw. Ergänzung bürokratischer Regulationen. (DIPF/Sch.) |
| Abstract (English): | That an institution which is above all responsible for developmental aid gets involved in educational policy is to be understood against the background that economic structure and concept changes are also to become or already have become standard in the education sector.
