Offenbar sind sie nicht in dem Maße mit Selbstvertrauen ausgestattet, dass sie sich ohne besondere Hilfe behaupten können. Dabei kommt den Lehrerinnen und Lehrern eine besondere Rolle zu: Sie können die subtilen Wirkungen vieler Faktoren durchkreuzen und insbesondere das Selbstbild der kognitiven Leistungsfähigkeit fördern. | Abstract (English): | What does equity of opportunity mean for girls with a working class family background? Obviously they are not sufficiently endowed with self-reliance to manage without special support.
