| Abstract (German): | Gegenwärtig wird über das Ende der Generationendifferenz diskutiert. Um vor voreiligen Schlüssen zu warnen, wird an einem historischen Beispiel verdeutlicht, welche pädagogische Bedeutung die Beziehung eines Jugendlichen zu einem älteren Menschen aufweisen kann. Da es sich bei dem Jugendlichen um Hermann Nohl handelt, wird zugleich erkennbar, wie Biographie und Werk in Wechselwirkung stehen können.(DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Currently, the end of the differences between the generations are debated. To avoid drawing conclusions prematurely, a historical example is used to illustrate the pedagogical importance of the relation between an adolescent and an elder person. The fact that the adolescent is Herman Nohl, the founder of the Pedagogical Institute at the University of Göttingen, clearly shows the contiguity of biographical effects and theoretical explications.
