Der Begriff Open Source bezieht sich ursprünglich auf die Offenheit des Quellcodes von Software, hat sich aber mittlerweile auf andere Bereiche wie Daten, Produkte und Abläufe ausgeweitet. Offene Wissenschaft bedeutet, dass Wissen für alle zugänglich gemacht wird und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Wissenschaftlern und der Öffentlichkeit gefördert wird. Der Text beschreibt die Geschichte und Entwicklung von Open Source und offener Wissenschaft sowie die verschiedenen Denkschulen, die den Diskurs prägen. (Herausgeber) |
| Abstract (English): | Open source and open science are topics that are becoming increasingly important in today's digital world. The term open source originally refers to the openness of the source code of software, but has since expanded to other areas such as data, products and processes. Open science means making knowledge available to all and encouraging collaboration between scientists and the public.
