| Abstract (German): | Reallabore sind hybride Gebilde an der Schnittstelle von Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft, die langfristig angelegt sind und Transformationsprozesse begleiten und auswerten sollen. Sie haben Laborcharakter und stellen spezifische Räume zum Experimentieren bereit. Reallabore sind zudem Bildungseinrichtungen und bieten reichhaltige Lernumgebungen für transdisziplinäre und transformative Forschung. Die Idee der Reallabore entstammt der transformativen Nachhaltigkeitsforschung und ist Teil eines globalen "experimental turn". Reallabore haben einen direkten Gestaltungsauftrag und sind gesellschaftsgestaltende und -verändernde Kräfte. Sie sind trans-wissenschaftlich und sollen die Transformation insbesondere von Siedlungsräumen unterstützen, beforschen und beschleunigen. Reallabore sind Ausdruck einer Demokratisierung der Wissenschaft und erweitern die gesellschaftliche Basis der Menschen, die an Wissenschaft partizipieren. (Herausgeber) |
| Abstract (English): | Real Labs are hybrid structures at the interface of science and society that are designed for the long term and are intended to accompany and evaluate transformation processes. They have a laboratory character and provide specific spaces for experimentation. Reallabs are also educational institutions and provide rich learning environments for transdisciplinary and transformative research. The idea of reallabs stems from transformative sustainability research and is part of a global "experimental turn." Reallabs have a direct design mission and are society-shaping and -changing forces. They are trans-scientific and are intended to support, research and accelerate the transformation of settlement areas in particular. Reallabs are an expression of the democratization of science and broaden the social basis of the people who participate in science. (Editor) |
