| Abstract (German): | Das Interesse des folgenden Beitrags richtet sich auf die Wirkungen von Lernmaterial auf den Unterrichtsprozeß. Dabei wird zum einen die Steuerungswirkung von Lernmaterial beobachtet, zum anderen auf die kognitiven und sozialaffektiven Umstände geschlossen, unter denen Lernen stattfindet. Die Autoren werten Beobachtungsdaten aus einem größeren Projekt der Universität Helsinki aus, wobei Stunden, in denen überhaupt nichts Gedrucktes benutzt wurde, und solche, in denen Abschnitte mit Gedrucktem identifizierbar waren, verglichen wurden. Dabei wird deutlich, in welchem Maße Lehrmaterial den Spielraum an Freiheit sowohl im individuellen als auch im sozialen Bereich einengt; Lehrer haben Schwierigkeiten, diese Wirkungen zu verändern. | Abstract (English): | The function of printed learning material in classroom interaction was investigated by analyzing videotapes and the materials actually in use. The analysis applied two criteria: the challenge to give a ränge of freedom to the ideas and opinions of the pupils, and the challenge to give access to social contacts. The examined materials were practically void in these respects and the teachers, in turn, were mostly unwilling or uncapable of raising the challenge level. Learning materials restrict the pupils’ access to social contacts as well as the freedom to express their own ideas. |
