| Abstract (English): | An empirical evaluation with standardized questionnaires of the courses "Older Citizens and New Technologies" of the Heinrich-Thöne-Volkshochschule in Mülheim/Ruhr confirmed hypotheses about signficant correlations between locus of control, chronological age and attitudes to technics and that active handling of new media has an impact on attitudes to technic in general.
