| Abstract (German): | Während die von patriarchalen Strukturen durchdrungene Realität als unveränderbar erscheint, bietet die Fiktion des Literarischen eine politische Versuchsanordnung: Romane ermöglichen es, andere Entwürfe vorzufinden bzw. zu entwickeln. Leser*innen können die Handlung weiterdenken, sich überlegen, wie die Protagonist*innen anders oder besser hätten handeln können. Das ist der politische Beitrag, den ein Roman leisten kann. Als Bildner*innen arbeiten wir im patriarchal geprägten „Kosmos des Öffentlichen“. In diesem Kosmos sind wir ständig dabei, zu bewerten, zu beurteilen und zu benoten, auch wenn wir keine Noten geben. Wir reproduzieren ihn und sind damit Instrument des Patriarchalen. Wollen wir demokratisch agieren, müssen wir auch demokratisch denken und sprechen. Dies bedürfe einer anderen statt der „ekpathischen Sprache“, die wir im Kosmos der Öffentlichkeit sprechen, es brauche einer „Subjekt-Subjekt“-Grammatik“ statt „Subjekt-Objekt“-Konstellationen, so die Autorin. | Abstract (English): | While reality, which is permeated by patriarchal structures, seems to be unchangeable, literary fiction allows political experimentation: Novels make it possible to find and develop other ways of life. Readers can continue the plot in their heads and consider how the protagonists could have acted differently or better. That is the political contribution a novel can make. As educators, we work in the patriarchally influenced “cosmos of the public sphere” (as opposed to the “cosmos of care,” which includes work done out of love). In this cosmos, we are constantly evaluating, judging and assessing even when we don’t give any grades. We reproduce it and are therefore an instrument of the patriarchy. If we want to act democratically, we must also think and speak democratically. This requires another language than the “ecpathic language” that we speak in the cosmos of the public sphere. According to the author, a “subject-subject” grammar instead of “subject-object” constellations is needed. (DIPF/Orig.) |
