| Abstract (German): | In der rassismuskritischen Forschung tauchen neben "Subjektivierung" mitunter auch die Begriffe "Desubjektivierung" oder "Entsubjektivierung" auf, wenngleich diese selten systematisch bestimmt werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund fokussiert dieser Beitrag Auseinandersetzungen mit Phänomenen, die mit den beiden Begriffen angerissen werden. De- wie auch Entsubjektivierungen werden dabei grundsätzlich verstanden als Prozesse, in denen gängige Leitvorstellungen von Subjekthaftigkeit wie etwa Souveränität oder Identität nicht oder nur eingeschränkt erfüllt werden (können). Einerseits wird in diesem Zusammenhang ein prekarisierendes und bedrohliches Moment im Sinne einer Dehumanisierung konnotiert, andererseits jedoch auch ein emanzipierendes Potenzial im Sinne einer "Entunterwerfung". Ausgehend davon wird das Verständnis von Desubjektivierung anhand von Situationen innerhalb biopolitischrassistischer Ordnungen diskutiert und Entsubjektivierung mit Beispielen widerständiger Praktiken analysiert. Für Ansätze rassismuskritischer Pädagogik bildet das Ablösen von starren Subjektkategorien, so die Schlussfolgerung, ein wertvolles Potenzial zur Stärkung der Handlungsmacht geflüchteter Menschen. | Abstract (English): | In research critical of racism, two forms of desubjectivation (in German: "Desubjektivierung" and "Entsubjektivierung") sometimes appear alongside "subjectivation", although an exact definition is rarely given. Against this backdrop, the article focuses on discussions of phenomena that are touched upon with these two forms. "Desubjektivierung" as well as "Entsubjektivierung" are basically understood as processes in which common guiding concepts of subjecthood, such as sovereignty or identity, are not fulfilled (or only to a limited extent). On the one hand, this connotes a precarious and threatening aspect in the sense of dehumanisation, but on the other hand also an emancipating potential in the sense of "de-subjugation". Based on this, the understanding of desubjectification as "Desubjektivierung" is discussed on the basis of situations within biopoliticalracist orders and desubjectification as "Entsubjektivierung" is analysed with examples of refugees' resistant practices. For approaches of critical racist pedagogy, the detachment from rigid subject categories, it is concluded, forms a valuable potential for strengthening the agency of refugees. (DIPF/Orig.) |
