| Abstract (German): | In mehreren Bundesländern werden zur Zeit Vorschläge zur Neuordnung der Lehrerbildung diskutiert. Dabei wird von "Zentren" offenbar eine Lösung aller bisher ungelösten Probleme, auch und gerade im Bereich der (Fach-)Didaktiken und der Schulpraktischen Studien, erwartet. Solchen Hoffnungen wird entgegengehalten, daß hier eine - offensichtlich auch finanzpolitisch bevorzugte - organisatorische Maßnahme nach einem Problem sucht, dessen "Lösung" sie sein soll. Dabei werde der Anspruch auf Professionalisierung der Lehrertätigkeit eher verkümmern, als daß er befördert würde. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Now for the first time since the organisational integration of the former teacher colleges (Pädagogische Hochschulen) into the universities, reforms are demanded. As an alternative to the current situation, government experts propose to establish centres for teacher training (Zentrum für Lehrerbildung) within or outside the university. These centres are expected to solve all the problems of the currently much criticized strategy of qualifying teacher students - especially in regard to the relation of theory and practice. In the article the authors argue that the reorganisation attempt is not based on a thorough analysis of the problems of teacher training but is finance driven. In restricting the problem to an organisational one, the concept follows the means-goal-rationality and is more in danger to destroy professionality than to promote it. (DIPF/Orig.) |
