| Abstract (German): | Kann die Kategorie Geschlecht dazu beitragen, die Bedingungen weiblicher Arbeit in Schule, Erziehung und Unterricht aufzuklären? Und ist ggf. von dort aus die Professionalität des Lehrberufs neu zu bestimmen? Lehrerinnen haben offenbar einen spezifischen Anteil an der Entwicklung der professionellen Berufskultur, der sich insbesondere in ausserunterrichtlichen Tätigkeiten und in der Unterstützung des Lernens von der Tätigkeit der männlichen Kollegen unterscheidet. | Abstract (English): | Can the category 'gender' contribute to enlighten the conditions of female work at school, in education and teaching? And might it be possible to find a new definition of professional efficiency? No doubt, female teachers have a specific share in the development of a genuine professional culture which differs from the activities of male colleagues as to external instructing activities and supporting of learning in general.
