| Abstract (English): | The article asks to what extent the ethnological way of thinking can stimulate multiperspectivity and change of perspective and create occasions for transformative educational processes. To this end, the cultural constitution of fields of social studies is analyzed and condensed using the example of the social studies topic “housing”. The ethnological view moves between diversity and universality and can offer opportunities for a dialogue between cultures, but also orientations for the future design of cultural fields.
