| Abstract (German): | Der Beitrag stellt die Relevanz von Service Learning als Methode einer Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung heraus und skizziert den Stand der Forschung zu Service Learning im Kontext nachhaltiger Entwicklung an Hochschulen. Anhand der Implementierung von Service Learning-Seminaren an drei Universitäten im Projekt "Senatra - Service Learning und nachhaltige Transformation an Hochschulen“ werden praktische Beispiele aufgezeigt und deren Gelingensbedingungen anhand erster empirischer Ergebnisse erörtert. Dabei wird vor allem deutlich, welche zentrale Rolle die effektive Begleitung der Zusammenarbeit von Studierenden mit den Praxiseinrichtungen einnimmt. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The article highlights the significance of service learning as a method of education for sustainable development and outlines the state of research on service learning in the context of sustainable development at universities. Using the implementation of service learning seminars at three universities within the framework of the project "Senatra - Service Learning and Sustainable Transformation at Universities", practical examples are described, and the conditions for their success are discussed based on initial empirical findings. It becomes particularly evident that effective facilitation of collaboration between students and partner organizations plays a central role. (DIPF/Orig.) |
