| Abstract (German): | Diese Arbeit untersucht die Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen herkömmlichen Schulen und Schulen in Jugendstrafanstalten. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Strafvollzug männlicher Jugendlicher und Heranwachsender, wobei weibliche Gefangene aufgrund ihres geringen Anteils und der eingeschränkten Maßnahmen nicht berücksichtigt werden. Die Studie beginnt mit einer allgemeinen Darstellung ausgewählter Aspekte des öffentlichen Schulsystems, die später vergleichend mit den Bedingungen in Schulen im Strafvollzug analysiert werden. Ziel ist es, die spezifischen Herausforderungen und Besonderheiten des schulischen Bildungsangebots in Jugendstrafanstalten zu identifizieren und zu verstehen. Gegenstände meiner Arbeit werden zum Beispiel sein: Schulformen, rechtliche Grundlagen, Unterrichtsinhalte, Lehrpersonal, nicht-lehrendes Personal, Schüler, Gebäude und Ausstattung, Schulaufsicht, Didaktik und Methodik. | Abstract (English): | This thesis examines the differences and similarities between conventional schools and schools in juvenile detention centres. The focus is on the imprisonment of male juveniles and young adults, whereby female prisoners are not taken into account due to their small proportion and the limited measures available. The study begins with a general presentation of selected aspects of the public school system, which are later analysed in comparison with the conditions in schools within the prison system. The aim is to identify and understand the specific challenges and characteristics of school education in juvenile detention centres. The subjects of my work will include, for example: types of schools, legal basis, teaching content, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, pupils, buildings and equipment, school supervision, didactics and methodology.
