Abstract (German):Obwohl die Prozesse der Globalisierung, Internationalisierung und Europäisierung sowohl auf Ebene der Bildungspolitik als auch der Bildungspraxis Transformationsprozesse erkennen lassen, zeigt sich mit Blick auf die Grundschulen bislang eine geringe Berücksichtigung von Internationalisierungsperspektiven. Vor diesem Hintergrund versteht sich der Beitrag als eine erste Annäherung an diese Thematik, um zunächst die Bedeutung von Internationalisierung und Europäisierung für die Grundschule herauszuarbeiten. Anschließend wird mit Rekurs auf Schulprofile sowie den internationalen und europäischen Austausch die Rolle der Grundschule beleuchtet, um darauf basierend Dimensionen der Internationalisierung herauszuarbeiten. Insgesamt reflektiert der Beitrag die Rolle der Grundschule, die, so ließe sich deuten, bislang zwar hinsichtlich Internationalisierung und Europäisierung mitgedacht wird, bei der Umsetzung jedoch eher eine Randerscheinung darstellt. Abstract (English):Although the processes of globalization, internationalization and Europeanization reveal transformation processes at both the level of educational policy and educational practice, primary schools have so far given little consideration to internationalization perspectives. Against this background, the article is intended as a first approach to this topic, in order to first elaborate on the significance of internationalization and Europeanization for primary schools. Subsequently, the role of primary schools is examined with reference to school profiles and international and European exchange programs, in order to identify dimensions of internationalization on this basis. Overall, the article reflects on the role of primary schools, which, it could be argued, has so far been considered in terms of internationalization and Europeanization, but tends to be marginalized when it comes to implementation.
