| Abstract (German): | Unter der Federführung des DIPF hat ein Konsortium zwischen April 2004 und Mai 2005 ein Forschungsprojekt "Schulleistungen und Steuerung des Schulsystems im Bundesstaat: Kanada und Deutschland im Vergleich" durchgeführt (Arbeitsgruppe Internationale Vergleichsstudie: Schulleistungen und Steuerung des Schulsystems im Bundesstaat: Kanada und Deutschland im Vergleich. Deutsches Institut für Internationale Pädagogische Forschung Frankfurt am Main / Berlin, 2005, Manuskript). Dieser allgemeine Rahmen war Anlass dazu, die vorliegende Themenausgabe zusammenzustellen.
