| Abstract (German): | Dieser Beitrag bilanziert den Stand des Nachhaltigkeitsdiskurses im deutschen Hochschulwesen. Dabei wird deutlich: trotz verschiedener Beispiele für Innovationen in Forschung und Lehre kann von einer breiten Umsetzung des Leitbildes noch nicht die Rede sein. Soll Wissenschaft den Anforderungen der Nachhaltigkeit genügen, dann bedarf es neuer inter- und transdisziplinärer Ansätze in Forschung und Lehre und einer strategischen Ausrichtung der Hochschulpolitik am Leitbild der Nachhaltigkeit. Wie dies konkret aussehen könnte, wird am Beispiel des Projektes "Sustainable University" der Universität Lüneburg illustriert. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | This article assesses the level of the discourse on sustainability at German universities. It shows that - apart from different examples for innovations in research and teaching - there can be no question of a realisation of the model. If research should be sufficient for the claims of sustainability, new inter- and transdisciplinary attempts in research and teaching are needed as well as a strategic organization of the university politics devoted to the model of sustainability. How this might look in reality is illustrated by the example of the project "Sustainable University" at the university of Lüneburg. (DIPF/Orig.) |
