Abstract (English):The development of professional skills in training adults is seen as a central issue in the business and services sector. [...] Achieving economic development is only possible if it is accompanied by specific efforts to educate and train not only young people but also adults, based on the principle of lifelong learning. The development of professional skills has therefore become a key issue in economic competition. [...] In the first part of this chapter, the author examines the notion of professional didactics, a theoretical framework designed to help formalise the problems of skills development in training adults. In the second part, he looks in detail at the notion of activity, which constitutes the core of adult training. Thirdly, he look ats professional activities aimed at other people, such as the work of the adult trainer. (DIPF/Orig.)
