| Abstract (German): | Der vorliegende Beitrag erläutert anhand eines fachdidaktischen Modells, das für das textile und das technische Gestalten an der PH Zürich entwickelt wurde, auf welche Grundlagen sich ein an Kompetenzen orientierter Unterricht im Gestalten bezieht. Im textilen Gestalten werden in der Auseinandersetzung mit relevanten Themen aus der Lebenswelt der Schülerinnen und Schüler fachliche Kompetenzen sowie Gestaltungskompetenzen entlang der Dimensionen von Objekten forschend erfahren. Kriterienorientierte Aufgabenstellungen, welche die fachlichen Themenfelder mit den Dimensionen der Objekte eng vernetzen, ermöglichen es den Lernenden, in gestalterischen Prozessen individuelle Produkte zu entwickeln und herzustellen. Somit erfahren sich die Lernenden als kompetent und aktiv handelnd in textilen Kontexten. |
| Abstract (English): | The Zurich University of Teacher Education (PH Zürich) has developed a subject-specific model of instruction in textile art and technical design. Taking this model as an example, the article sets out the basic principles of competence-oriented teaching in this domain. In textile art classes, the pupils get the opportunity to deal with topics pertinent to their everyday life and environment, and thus to explore and experience subject-specific as well as technical competences alongside the diverse dimensions of the objects dealt with. Tasks which are competence-oriented, and closely link subject-specific issues to the dimensions of the respective objects enable the pupils to develop and realize artifacts in individual design processes. In doing so, the pupils perceive themselves as competent and actively engaged in textile contexts. |
