| Abstract (German): | Der Essay entfaltet den Zusammenhang dreier Begriffe als Form der Reflexion auf den Menschen. "Universum" hält das evolutionäre Kontinuum von Natur und Gesellschaft fest; "Kultur" bezeichnet die symbolische Struktur menschlichen Zusammenlebens; "Denken" markiert den Selbstbezug von Natur aus reflexiver, weil symbolisch verfasster Lebewesen. Nietzsche, Peirce, Cassirer und Whitehead helfen mit ihren Überlegungen dabei, die Verschränkung von Denken, Kultur und Universum auszuarbeiten und bildungsphilosophisch zu artikulieren. | Abstract (English): | The essay unfolds the interrelation between three concepts as a form of reflection on man. "Universe" grasps the evolutionary continuum from nature to society; "culture" describes the symbolic structure of human coexistence; "thought" marks the self-reference of living beings that are reflexive by nature because they are symbolically conditioned. Reflections by Nietzsche, Peirce, Cassirer, and Whitehead help reveal the interconnections between thought, culture, and universe and express them in educational-philosophical terms. (DIPF/Orig.) |
