| Abstract (English): | This paper introduces a reconstructive research approach to creative musical actions that we applied in two studies on collaborative composing and improvising in school settings. Following the format of design research, we developed lesson designs that initiate and support improvisation and composition processes in order to foster creativity and initiate creative learning. This was connected to the goal of reconstructing processes of creative musical actions and the orientations of learners in these practices. Adapting the documentary video interpretation to our research context and interests offers new perspectives on learners’ orientations. This leads to a better understanding of creative practices in music educational contexts and provides us with a basis for our design research. (DIPF/Orig.) |
