| Abstract (German): | Der Beitrag untersucht die spezifische Funktion von Sprache sowohl im akademisch-disziplinären als auch im handlungspraktisch-professionellen Kontext der Sozialpädagogik. Diese Differenzbestimmung wird eingeführt, um deutlich zu machen, daß Sprache in den beiden Verwendungskontexten jeweils unterschiedliche Funktionen erfüllt und je besondere Verständigungs-, Vermittlungs- und Verständnisprobleme aufwirft. Vor diesem Hintergrund bedarf es einer Relativierung der Forderung nach Verständlichkeit, die den Besonderheiten des jeweiligen Feldes Rechnung tragen muß. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The author examines the specific function of language in both the academic-disciplinary and the practical-professional context of social pedagogics. This differentiation is introduced in order to make clear that language serves different functions in the respective contexts of use and that, in each, it raises specific problems of communication, presentation, and comprehension. Against this background, a relativization of the demand for comprehensibility seems to be called for, which has to take into account the characteristics of each respective field. (DIPF/Orig.) |
