| Abstract (German): | Das Erkenntnisziel des vorgeschlagenen heuristischen Analysemodells richtet sich auf die verstehende Rekonstruktion von berufsbiographischen Handlungen und Orientierungen in Sequenzen von Übergängen bzw. Wechseln von Rollenkonfigurationen im Lebenslauf. Das Grundmodell biographischer Handlungen wird durch den Bezug auf Stationen im Lebenslauf kontextualisiert und mit dem Längsschnittansatz zeitlich dynamisiert. Damit stehen Entwicklung und Verknüpfung retrospektiver und prospektiver Aussagen im Mittelpunkt. Die Orientierung an einem rationalen Entscheidungsmodell, dem zufolge die Akteure bewusste Entscheidungen vor dem Handeln treffen, führt häufig zu Fehlinterpretationen biographischen Handelns. Handlungsziele bekommen dagegen häufig erst nach vollzogenen Handlungen und in der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Handlungsergebnis Kontur, werden neu bewertet oder gar umgedeutet. Wie in den Anwendungsbeispielen des Modells verdeutlicht, kennzeichnen diese in der Forschung vielfach vernachlässigten biographischen Sinnkonstruktionen den Versuch von Akteuren, die ihnen zugeschriebene Rolle als eigenverantwortliche, gestaltende Subjekte ihrer Biographie auszufüllen und Diskrepanzen zwischen institutionellen Vorgaben und Handlungsresultaten einerseits sowie eigenen Ansprüchen zu versöhnen. | Abstract (English): | The proposed heuristic model of analysis aims to help reconstruct occupational-biographical actions and orientations in sequences of transitions, status changes or changes in role configurations. In doing so, we proceed from a concept of the biographical actor that integrales life-course history, life perspectives and perceived options and circumstances. We emphasize at the same time that individuals are not only objects of a life-course regime but also actors who take advantage of room for manoeuvre in the life course. We contextualize and render dynamic the standard model of biographical action by reference to its relationship to stations which structure the life course. The applied examples make clear the importance of reconstructing individuals' subjective action interpretations for the explanation of their occupational paths. In analyzing the results of their actions, actors formulate, specify and correct their professional ambitions after the fact. By means of these retrospective interpretations of their actions, actors function as independent subjects and give form to the biographical roles ascribed to them. (DIPF/Orig.) |
