| Abstract (German): | In der Debatte rund um Inklusion werden Fragen nach Partizipation und sozialer Ungleichheit häufig im Kontext von schulischer Bildung diskutiert. Dieser Artikel fokussiert auf Prozesse von Ein- und Ausschluss im Feld hochschulischer musikpädagogischer Studiengänge an Musikhochschulen und Pädagogischen Hochschulen. Mit Hilfe soziologischer Denkwerkzeuge von Pierre Bourdieu werden unterschiedliche Formen der Distinktion untersucht. Empirische Analysen mit der Dokumentarischen Methode zeigen, dass Studierende verschiedener musikpädagogischer Studiengänge sich in spezifischer Weise voneinander abgrenzen. Es zeigt sich das Bild eines hierarchisch strukturierten Feldes, in dem künstlerisches kulturelles Kapital höher angesehen ist als pädagogisches kulturelles Kapital. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | In the debate surrounding inclusion, participation and social injustice are often discussed regarding education in schools. This article focuses on processes of inclusion and exclusion in the field of higher music education in tertiary institutions. Using Bourdieu’s theoretical tools, different kinds of distinction are investigated more closely. One thing that became apparent was that students in various degree programs of higher music education differ in their ways of distinguishing themselves from each other. Analyses inspired by the documentary method suggest a hierarchic system in which musical cultural capital is more highly esteemed than pedagogical cultural capital. (DIPF/Orig.) |
