| Abstract (German): | Die digitale Transformation erfasst auch die politische Kommunikation und richtet das Wechselwirkungsdreieck zwischen individueller, sozialer und medientechnischer Welt in vielerlei Hinsicht neu aus. Das hier vorgeschlagene metaphorisch-konzeptionelle Bild von der Gesellschaft als einer ‚algorithmischen Sozialmaschine‘ eröffnet dazu Projektions- und Reflexionsflächen, um Phänomene und Prozesse der Datafizierung zu hinterfragen. Wird dieses Bild dekonstruiert, so stellen sich normativ-ethische Fragen nach dem zugrundeliegenden Menschenbild und nach der Vorstellung von der sozialen Welt als ‚politische Maschine‘ – Fragen, die in der Praxis der kritischen Medienbildung und der politischen Bildung gestellt und erörtert werden könnten. | Abstract (English): | The digital transformation also encompasses political communication and realigns the triangle of interaction between the individual, the social and the technological world in many respects. The metaphorical-conceptual image of society as an 'algorithmic social machine' proposed here opens up projection and reflection surfaces for questioning phenomena and processes of datafication. If this image is deconstructed, normative-ethical questions arise about the underlying image of humanity and about the notion of the social world as a 'political machine' - questions that could be posed and discussed in the practice of critical media education and political education.
