| Abstract (German): | Der Autor sieht Übereinstimmungen mit Hartmut von Hentig im pragmatischen Bildungsverständnis, aber auch wichtige Differenzen in grundlegenden Orientierungen. Aufgabe der Schule sei vor allem die Vermittlung von kognitiven Basiskompetenzen mit unverzichtbaren Mindeststandards. In den Basiskompetenzen sind basale Modi der Weltaneignung repräsentiert. Die vergleichenden Leistungsstudien belegen die unterschiedlichen Effekte schulischen Lernens. Die Schule muss das situative Interesse fördern und - aus auch bildungstheoretisch zu begründender Fürsorge - die Teilnahme am Unterricht bis zur Oberstufe erzwingen. Der eklatante Mangel an Schulexperimenten schränkt das Entwicklungspotential und unsere Einsichten in die Wirkungsmöglichkeiten der Schule ein. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The author agrees with the idea of practical education but also states important differences to Hartmut von Hentig in some basic orientations. The task of the school is teaching basic cognitive competencies related to indispensable minimum standards. Different modes of understanding the world are included. Comparative assessment studies explore the different effects of schooling. According to its obligation to public welfare schools must support the situative interest of their students and insist on their participation until the upper secondary level. The deplorable lack of school experiments limits the developmental potential and our insights into the possibilities of effects of schooling. (DIPF/Orig.) |
