| Abstract (German): | Dass der Zusammenhang zwischen sozialer Herkunft und Bildung in Deutschland so eng ist, könnte nach Auffassung des Autors auch daran liegen, dass mit "Bildung" die Erwartung auf soziale Gratifikation verbunden ist. Die begriffliche Unterscheidung von Kompetenz und Bildung könnte seines Erachtens auch in der Diskussion um Standards zur Klärung beitragen. (DIPF/Orig./Ba.) |
| Abstract (English): | The fact that there is such a strong connection between social origin and educational success in Germany might be related to the expected social gratification linked to "Bildung".
